Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush Reviews :
Liked my old Sonicare better
I've had this toothbrush since June, 2008. I bought it when my old Sonicare's battery died. I had the old Sonicare for 3 years and liked it very much--it did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.

Unfortunately, this new Sonicare does not seem to clean my teeth as well as the old one, especially where two teeth meet and up by the gums. I think this is because of the brush shape. It seems too rounded for my teeth and the bristles on the edges of the brush seem too short. I get my teeth professionally cleaned every 6 months and, at my last cleaning, I was surprised to have some tartar on my teeth (usually I do not have any, or I only have a very small amount).

They do sell other brushes for this toothbrush aside from the one which I am currently using (which is the model of brush that comes with the toothbrush), but these other brushes are very small and I also find that they do not do a very good job cleaning. I really wish they would make some of the old-style brushes to fit this Sonicare. I also think that this toothbrush is overpriced (I paid 89 dollars).

There are some things that I do like about this toothbrush. I like the long battery life and I like the fact that a lot of grime does not build up where you attach the brush head (which was a problem with my old Sonicare). It's also nice that there is a built in timer which alerts you every 30 seconds so that you can change quadrants while you are brushing your teeth. I do, however, think it's silly that it shuts off after 2 minutes (my old Sonicare did this too) because I am often not done brushing my teeth.

The massage function is okay. I tried it, but do not use it because you have to set the toothbrush up for it before you start brushing (and I always forget). The only reason that I would be interested in going through this extra step would be because it adds 1 minute to the overall time of the brushing cycle (so the toothbrush would not shut off before I was done brushing and I wouldn't have to turn it on again to finish).

Overall, I think the toothbrush is okay--it is way better than a manual toothbrush--but I really wish I had my old Sonicare back. I'm thinking about replacing this Sonicare and maybe trying a Braun.

Consider the battery
This model uses a lithium ion battery (the HealthyWhite also uses Li-ion). This is the reason I chose this product over oral B or the other cheaper sonicare models. All the Oral-B models that I could find used either NiCad (toxic) or nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH). Previous experience with NiMH batteries that they wear out quickly. And since you cannot replace the batteries in rechargeable toothbrushes, I didn't want to have to purchase another one in 2 years. I've had very good luck with Li-ion batteries in laptops, cameras, phones, etc. They hold their charge better and last longer.

Justifying the price is difficult. Although I got a very good deal at a warehouse store for the flexcare with 2 handles and UV sanitizer. The replacement brushes are also more expensive. However, if I can get a few more years out of this because it uses a better battery, then the price will be more comparable to cheaper models.

As far as cleaning ability, I feel that it is doing a better job than I would do with manual brushing. I would be surprised if the cleaning ability is significantly better than the oral-b models.

Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes Refills, 192-Count Packages (Pack of 4) (768 wipes) Reviews :
Great for sensitive skin; packaging holds up to repeated use
These wipes are great. They are very soft and don't irritate my daughter's skin, who is prone to eczema.

They also work in the wipe warmers (when you pull one out, it pulls another one up through the slot like a tissue. The Huggies wipes I tried did not do that, and you had to fish around for a new wipe each time.)

Each package is wrapped in plastic with a resealable strip that holds up to repeated use. The generic wraps I've tried often are packaged in thinner plastic that rips when you try to pull open the adhesive cover, or the adhesive loses its stickiness before the last wipe is used.

I keep a package in every room my baby plays in. If I had one complaint it is that 192 wipes is really overkill for the diaper bag, so I put some in a separate container or plastic bag, but that's the same with all brands I've tried (and it's the perfect amount of wipes for the wipe warmer, which I recommend for anyone who needs to change a diaper in the middle of the night, or whose baby doesn't like to get changed).

Sensitive Babies/Sensitive Wipes
My two grandsons have very sensitive skin so I ordered the Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes to see if they would be gentler on their precious, sensitive skin. Both boys responded very nicely to the wipes - so, we continue to use them. We are very pleased. Thank you.

Best Recovery Drink...
Think drink puts gatorade and other performance drinks to shame.. Which are loaded with high fructose corn syrup.. It is extremely refreshing and tastes great.. I drink these during my gym workouts.. I even downed one after a long night of boozing and felt alot better the next morning..

Great Nourishment for Athletes
I am a long-distance runner and do Bikram (Hot) yoga. Both of these activities take a lot out of me, and I used to get painful foot and leg cramps. No more after drinking such high-potassium drinks like this one. I prefer the original flavor over the other flavorings because there's nothing added--just like they drink it straight from the coconut in India, Costa Rica, or Thailand. If you're a fan of sugary drinks or Vitamin-Water, you might not enjoy this because it's a little earthy tasting. But, if you can wean yourself off the flavor of the other "enhanced" waters, this stuff will be so much better for you!

Homedics Therapist Select SP-10H Shiatsu Pillow, Beige Reviews :
AHHHHHHHH~How do you spell relief?~~Homedics~SP10-H
I have been looking for years for one of these type massagers that really feels good and gives relief. At last I have found it. When the price went below thirty dollars I went for it. I am so glad. It is half the cost of a massage and it produces the same results. You can move it all over the body just like two warm hands. You are in control of how much pressure you want at any point.

I have fibromyalgia and have many sore points that never release I will not say this will even totally relax them but it helps. The amount of heat is just right for me. I sit in the recliner NOT reclined and start at the neck and move it down to base of spine. I lean into it just as much as I can stand, lightly, and it is wonderful. I also like it to massage the bottoms of my feet. Having it in a small soft pillow is the best design. It makes it very versitile. those big chair mats limit you to just where they are located. This is just right.

It has a 20 min timer so if you fall asleep it turns off. This happens when using on the bottom of the feet.

I cannot say enough good about this product. I have tried so many different ones and nothing measures up to the versitility of this unit. It is also small and nice looking.

Wonderful product.

Superb item for the cost; for those who like deep tissue massage action
I bought this item as a substitute for a shiatsu chair pad (was almost 100 and outside my budget for what I was willing to pay) for my father. After reading some reviews talking about the bkk-100 being better, I tried finding it to no avail. I thought I was settling after giving up and buying this anyway.

Boy oh boy, I don't know how great the Bkk-100 is vs. this, but it sure does some great deep tissue massage. I love how versatile it can be just by moving it up and down your back/neck accordingly.

One or more persons complained about how the inner and outer nodules are different in sizing causing some odd massaging action. I, however, like the change in pressure it causes from going from the large to the small. The small knob rotation gives this momentary break from the larger knob.

Another positive to this product is the micro suede fabric cover. I own a lot of this type of fabric because it is, for the most part, stain resistant and easy to clean.

In my humble opinion, this product is better than a 100+ dollar chair pad because its more mobile and it has a better ability to let you choose the specific spot you want massaged.

Nabisco 100 Calorie Pack Chewy Granola Bars - Variety Pack, 10.08-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Reviews :
Not even close to the cookie!
Nabisco cookies taste great as cookies, however when converted into a 100 Calorie Granola Bar they completely loose their appeal. The only one that I found tasty was the Nutter Butter and that was a stretch. Next the Chips Ahoy almost tasted like there was coconut in the mix. Finally, the Oreo did not taste like what you had as a kid to dunk in your milk. As another reviewer summed it up "Sticky and not very tasty". Save your money and buy the actual cookies and then put a 100 calorie's worth of them in snack sized bags! If you want a tasty granola bar that tastes like a cookie that is about the same calorie/fat/sugar content purchase the Quaker Oats or the Kashi TLC.

Eat them fast!
The bars are OK tasting but my review is actually about Amazon's food specials. When they offer something, it has been my experience that the expiration date is close at hand, sometimes just a month or two away. I DO order food products through subscribe and save but I'm writing this so you will know that, usually, the special products must be used rather quickly.

Sony Quick Battery Charger with 4 AA Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries Reviews :
works great
This works really well for a digital camera. You always have an extra set of charged batteries, and the charger charges quick!

JUNK product -- only works with Sony included batteries
I own several AA and AAA batteries that fully comply with the specs of supposedly compatible batteries for this charger and it accepts NONE of them. It works 100% of the time with the Sony's, and 0% of the time with any other battery types I tried (AAA 200 mah, AA 1300 mah, 2000mah). I'm quite disappointed.

If you're looking for a universal charger, look elsewhere.
