Everything I read here was true...
The scales seem extremely accurate and very easy to use. The body fat monitor is way, way off. It's at least 9% higher than my handheld unit. I'm in the high-normal range on the handheld but "very high" range on the scales. I'm very active and generally very fit so I'm going with the handheld calculator.

Wish I had seen this when I bought the HBF-400
Bio-electrical impedance fat % measurements can be totally inaccurate if you use only a hand-held device or just a foot-to-foot body fat scale like the HBF-400. Since electricity takes the shortest path through your body, hand-held devices really only measure your upper body fat, and foot-to-foot ones only measure your lower body fat. With the HBF-400 I get a readout of 25% body fat, which I know for a fact is way off. My body fat is between 15-20%, I had it measured at the gym. In order to get an accurate reading from the HBF-400 I have to bend down, lift one heel off the scale, and place two fingers on the spot your heel is supposed to go. Doing so gives me a readout of 17.5%. I may have to go ahead and buy this HBF-500 at some point as it is clearly superior, using hand AND foot contacts to measure your entire body at once. Maybe Amazon will take the HBF-400 back if I complain about it's shoddy performance.

Nice Towels
No smell as some have mentioned, washed them out of the bag and they are fluffy soft and absorbent good deal.

Very nice, very sturdy, doesn't fade
I don't know what the folks who warn that the towels fade with washing use for soap, but they better stop grabbing the bleach container. That's the only explanation - dumb user error.

These towels are fantastic. They are as soft as described, and I washed them upon receipt - colors stayed full and towels are beautiful.

What a find for $20!!!

GREAT QUALITY
After going through several scales I finally found this one. I am very happy with this scale. It is easy to read because of the blue back light.Highly recommended.

Awesome!
First off, I'd like to state that this scale is accurate down to the gram. It does exactly what a scale is supposed to do and that's tell you your weight.

I must admit, it takes some getting used to in using it, in the beginning. Beacuse it has so many features, like Weight Tracker, it's hard to know how to use it right, at first. So, i'll say this. To just measure weight -anyone's weight, at any time- you'll need to tap the center of it, first. That brings up it's "Basic" weighting mode, without all the memory tracking, and all of that. After a few seconds, it'll say a weight of 0.0 pounds. That's when you step on, and it measures your weight.

I use it everyday to keep track of my diet. It's amazing! You'd be surprised how much you learn! Like, one typical lunch with a Whopper and fries can gain you as much as six pounds! And you can lose up to four pounds after..., urr... "dropping some kids off at the pool." Yeah, really. That's how much you can lose doing that.

Seriously, though, I highly recommend this scale for anyone looking to keep track of their weight. I've already lost 15 pounds by keeping a daily measure of my weight and making sure I don't gain anything, or if I do, making sure I exercise enough to lose the excess weight. It's a five star scale and for only $30, the price is very much worth it!

Quality Sheets -- Would buy again!
These sheets are very nice. They put cheaper department store 200 - 300 thread count sheets to shame.

We ordered the Cafe' color, which is beautiful. The sheets are heavy and washed great. Very pretty, elegant stitching around pillowcase hem and top sheet adds a nice touch. I had expected the sheets to feel more "sateen". Instead, they are moderately heavy and very comfortable.

A great buy at a price that cannot be beat!


A little disappointed ...
I thought these were going to be A LOT softer - I have some 600 thread sheets now (much softer) however they were twice the cost. They are very thick and I like the chocolate brown color...

Shower Curtain Liner

The shower curtain liner is great. Although I had to go out and buy different hooks for it because it wouldnt work with the hooks on my old liner for some reason. But it is a nice looking shower liner and I am very happy with it. I have no complaints.

Satin Sheets
Nice out of the package but starts to show wear after only two washings, also hard to keep on the bed, could they use more elastic? Bottom line..for the price you can't beat them!

Not what I thought it to be
I orderd the black set for a full size bed. These sheets seem like they should fit a king. They are so big that they keep pulling off the bed. Other than the fact that they are so big I enjoyed the way the look and feel.
