Should have more attachments for this price.
The Presto Saladshooter works well and cleans easily. I'm only giving it a "2" because you have to buy more attachments that should have come with it at that price. Also the low rating is deserved because it is made in China, and I'm sick to death of almost everything being made in China. We desperately need jobs in America, but the manufacturers are too cheap to pay decent wages and benefits to Americans.

As is, this machine only slices and shreds in one size each. It should have been designed to aim the foods straight into the bowl or pan without making you buy a separate attachment. Also, I prefer finer size shreds for most foods, and would have to buy the fine-shred attachment for that. I've seen manual machines that produce more shapes and sizes at much lower costs. My arm won't fall off if I turn a crank or slide a lever to achieve the results I want - instead of wasting electricity.

Productive and Compact
We had a Presto Saladshooter for years and the plastic on-off switch broke after providing many years of service. We decided to get the same product basically and are very satisfied again. The packaging has improved. The functionality is great for the price.

Sturdy, comfortable, good tongs
These Oxo Good Grips tongs are perfect for the kitchen.

It is long enough and big enough to be useful for cooking in large quantities yet maneuverable enough for day to day use.

The rubber handles are comfortable and make the tongs easy to hold. The locking mechanism is simple and easy to use. The tongs are also sturdy yet light. One other good thing about these is that the rubber grips make them useful even when wet or for hot food.

Great Tool For Kitchen Aid Mixer
I have used various hand and electric juicers in the past, and none has worked any better than this one. It is a bit noisy and the supplied pulp filter needs to be supplemented with a secondary filter after squeezing. This is more than offset by ease of use and cleaning.
If you already own/are planning on buying a kitchen aid stand mixer and you squeeze citrus, this is a very worthwhile investment.

Juice Extractor
The Kitchen Aid mixer has all the power you need to extract juice from any citrus. The only minus is the verticle position causes some juice to run down your fingers.

Grossly Overpriced
I purchased the Presto PowerCup Concentrators for my Microwave Popper because I can no longer find them at the store. Since I saw that Amazon carried the and I had an account with them, I bought what I thought was a multi-pack becasue of the price. When the product arrived, I was a amazed to discover that what I thought was two orf three packs was only one.

I returned the product and got them at the manufacturer, where I was charged a third of Amazon's price.
