Great Value - Mediocre Performance
Even though I own a lot of Calphalon products, for some reason this pan seems to be extra sticky... No matter the fat I use in the pan, proteins stick. Doesn't matter, chicken, eggs, sausage, bacon etc it sticks.. The pan cleans up pretty easy though, and for the price I paid ($19.99), I can't complain. Though it is not an "Everyday Pan" for me, it will be a sometimes pan. It is a great design, maybe they just made a huge run of these and maybe they are 2nds.

as mentioned in the title, i bought it when it was on sale, very good price for this brand. when i received it, it was shaallower than i thought, doesn't matter, however, it seems u need to put a lot of oil otherwise, it sticks quite a lot, cleaning seems ok, but still quite annoying as u couldn't only use it for one dish and then soak in the water and clean it the next day...i won't recommend to friends...

Baking has never been so easy. This baking mat works wonderfully as baking pan liner or as a working surface because of its silicon and fiberglass non-stick surface which makes it very easy to clean. It is completely safe in freezers or microwaves. Up to 3,000 uses or more per mat.

Whirley Pop popcorn popper
Great flavor popcorn, and the corn pops in the same amount of time as microwave popcorn, but this has a better flavor and more of it.

Best Popcorn Ever
My boyfriend is popcorn crazy. He literally picks movie theaters because of the quality of the popcorn. The first time I made him popcorn with the Whirley-Pop Popper, he couldn't believe it. For a year we took it back and forth between our homes. I gave him one of his own for Christmas this year and he was estatic. You won't be disappointed.

SUPERB COOKWARE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE!
I received this in the mail today and had an opportunity to use it while making dinner. This cookware superceded my expectations. It is very well-constructed and durable. I am especially pleased with the ergonomic and handles which seem to detract the heat and make "hot-pot" handling a breeze. I am the type to have cookware for a very long time and I was very hesitant to buy a new set. I already own a Le Creuset cookware set but I thought I'd purchase another set to handle my day-to-day cooking tasks (Le Creuset is extremely heavy afterall!) I am so pleased with this set and I know it will last a long time.

Pros:
-Excellent heat distribution
-Heats quickly
-Nonstick feature works ridiculously well
-Cleanup is a actually fun (ok, a bit of an exaggeration)
-Cushy handles are easy to hold and do not retain that much heat (making that trip from the stove to the sink a cinch)
-Aesthetically pleasing cookware
-An excellent value

I was so pleasantly surprised with this cookware. It's very attractive, highly functional, and a easy clean-up for my family. We all were just blown away with how well this cookware performed. I also bought these at a fabulous price. This was a great investment.

How to know when the cake is done? There's the broom bristle method (yuck), the finger tap method (unreliable), and the toothpick method (only works with shallow cakes). If you love to bake make sure you get the best results for your efforts and use a real, genuine cake tester.

Nice addition
This is a nice, useful size and shape for general use. Today's Calphalon isn't as quality-insistent as it was two decades ago, and that's evident in this pot's weight and craftmanship. It's still a good one, though, and valuable for everyday use.

I bought two and gave them for presents at Christmas. They are a excellent value and a much appreciated gift!

Excellent product and quick shipping
cast iron skillets are amazing and the one i got from the shipper was no exception. There was nothing amiss with my order (kind of hard to mess up a solid iron pan), and I'd totally buy from them again!

No problems
I actually bought mine at a local sporting-goods store because I didn't want to have to pay shipping on that much cast iron (you can get them at Wal-Mart, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and most camping stores in my area).

I read around first so I knew that "pre-seasoned" didn't really mean it could be used as-is, right out of the box (I also have my grandparents' small Wagner frying pan, which is glass-smooth, but only through 70 years of use. True seasoning doesn't come easily).

I seasoned it in the oven, the way I read about online, and have tried to maintain it, and so far it's worked great. I haven't had any problems with sticking as long as I'm careful to "lube" it properly before putting the food in. I'm looking forward to making cornbread in it and getting that crispy outside.

For the record, since I saw some people complained about it: Yes, the handle is that small. You've seen the picture. Mine is a 10.5 inch and it's heavy: I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand and it's a bit difficult for me to lift and tilt in one hand, so if you have hand problems, be aware of this. You will need good hot-pads.

The most versitile and BEST non-stick pan you will ever own!
Like Alton Brown says, this is the pan to have. When properly cared for (meaning by seasoning it once in awhile and not abrasively scrubbing and washing this pan with soap water) this pan will be the best non-stick pan you can find!

As a professional cook, when I cook at home I use this pan regularly. From deep frying (nice heavy pan holds heat well), pan searing then putting the whole pan into the oven to roast and finish, to even baking!

Do not use this for braising or say... making pasta, liquids don't do too well for this pan. I highly recommend this pan. Lodge has been making cast-iron for a long time and they make great products.

Arrived Damaged
The skillet arrived broken, with a large piece broken off from the skillet. Unusable. Seems to be a common issue for this product from Amazon. I can't see how it's cheaper for Amazon to not package this item well and then have to pay for so many returns versus just packing it correctly so it does not break. Oh well. Never got to use the skillet, so the rating is based on the shipping and not the skillet. But, you have get the item unbroken in order to use it.
