Forced into Change, Moderately Happy
I was basically forced to change from Office 2003 into 2007 when my computer crashed taking with it all installed programs (Microsoft actually had something to do with it ;) which I took as a sign from above (Bill Gates?) that I should bring my software a little up to date.
After several weeks with the new software I am still undecided whether this was the right move. Frankly, I have yet to find a single function which would really make a difference.
The new layout is fancier but this is not what I expect - I need quick access to rather basic functions instead of dozens of functions the purpose of which I will never discover. Let's face it, I need my computer for writing. I can create an odd table every now and then but that is the limit to my computer skills. Within this fairly limited set of needs I found the new Office to big to handle.
Obviously, I am to blame to some extent, I got used to doing things "my way" over the years and now "my ways" are no longer accessible or I have to trailblaze across allegedly "intuitive" software. My basic problem is that the new Office knows too well what I want when I don't want it at all (still haven't mastered the tricky art of numbering within a single Word document starting from 1. several times).
I couldn't avoid the upgrade forever as my students started sending me essays in the new Word format which I could not open any longer but if I could I would probably be happier with the old one. And this is my conclusion - if you already have an older version of Office and it works, don't change it. It just isn't worth the money and the bother.

Microsoft 2007 Home Edition
Product contains more downloads than I need, but this version of Word, Excel and Powerpoint all work very well. This purchase was necessary to solve a continuous problem of Windows Office 2000 trying to reload something without my having a CD or DVD to load from (DELL loaded Word and Excel on originally without suppling Office 2000 - thanks DELL and of course, thanks to the criminals at Microsoft who imply they can help fix problems with their rotten software).

I dream about Spore
I really love this game. I can't say much more than that. The depth in this game is phenomenal, and you can apply all the creativity you can muster to make your very own creation.

Fantastic levels, all operating differently, essentially bringing 5 games into the one. Each game is able to be played by themself, or concurrently - and I swear I am so addicted to this game that when I wake up in the mornings I can see Spore creations dancing in front of my eyes.

There are some downfalls - there appear to be problems with operating on a Mac - and many people are upset over this. I understand where they're coming from, Spore is touted to be Mac friendly - however I am way to much in love to have this ruin our relationship. I'll be installing Windows on my Mac just so I can play, whilst I wait for EA to come up with a fix for the Mac.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves their life sims, or their creation sims.

This REALLY sucks !!!
My kids totally begged for this game so I broke down and bought TWO copies. The first one installed on my younger sons computer with only minor issues, however it would not let me create an online user name and password. I thought no big deal. So I went and installed it on my older sons computer. Keep in mind I bought these computers at the same time and they are identical, with an identical OS win XP .. It will install but WILL NOT launch. So then I log in to Amazon to read reviews, you would be surprised at how many people post tips here. Then I start reading this DRM junk.. I'm total p!ssed ... After buying TWO copies of this thing, I will have no problem taking it back to wall mart tomorrow. Consumers do not need to put up with this CRAP!!!!!

Great history makes a great future
If you liked Dark Age of Camelot I think you'll like this game. Mythic has recreated the same community Dark Age of Camelot had with a new lore.
If you haven't played their previous game then you should know that the focus of this game is realm versus realm combat. Note that I did not say player versus player combat. You will hardly ever travel by yourself and your goal will always be to defeat the opposing team in one manner or another.

WAR is the best MMO out right now
Warhammer is easily the best MMO out right now. Since EQ I've played three new MMOs, WOW, LOTRO, and now WAR.

To quickly compare the three:
World of Warcraft is the most polished (it's been out the longest), has the biggest online gaming community out there (albeit a largely immature and racist one), item-based gameplay, fantastic instancing (dungeons), Arena PVP, and has the most cohesive PVE/PVP balance.

Lord of the Rings Online has the most lush and beautiful visuals, the smallest community of the three (though big enough, and no doubt the most intelligent and mature player base), the best RPing, the most brilliant story (considering the source material), the most true to heart rendition of Middle Earth in game, and the best PVE content around. Also, it's soundtrack is a whole other achievement in it and of itself.

Warhammer Online has the most incredible, original, and addicting PVP (RVR), the most creative, customizable, and expansive class choices, probably the best graphics (it's the newest of the three), the best character design, the best crafting system, the simple yet brilliant innovation of Public Quests, and other encouragements to party with fellow members (You are forced to interact with other players in as many situations as possible)

Of the three I play LOTRO the most, but overall I will have to merit Warhammer Online as the best MMORPG available today because it is the most original, the most addicting (because of it's highly competitive RVR play), and the most ''classy''.
